I wonder if a big warm Sawdoff welcome is a good thing or a bad thing for our newest members.
It might just scare them off!

Here we go again, I leave for a little while, and all hell breaks loose......! I have been out of comission for about a week or so, when stuff happens, it happens in a big way.
I hear we lost a few folks in the Ryl Guild, sorry to see em go, but what the the heck, we will get over it. 'Bout time to cull the herd, anyhoo. Just to further what Bear said in his post on 11 Sept, 2005. ; I believe in teamwork, and respect to our fellow members, and when push comes to shove, all the rainbows with TRUE COLOURS shine high above all others. We know our true friends, each and every one of us, and I am sincerely Proud to be a member of DBD!! Anyway, I am almost done all my stuff, around the house, with Winterizing and all, so I will be on with alot more frequencey.
PS, I am going to see my first Rock concert ever, and it just happens to be my favourite band of all time, JUDAS PRIEST!! ANTHRAX will open for them, what a blast.

Well guys, I am back to work again. Thank God I was driving myself nuts. I am working on Slippery Rock U and it is a pretty good drive for me so I may not be on as much as I like. I know you guys will get along just fine, it seems that all the ones that required me to hold their hands have left DbD so no more babysitting! Well hope to see you all soon and B-Good! Oh FYI the wine making went GREAT! There should be about 50 gallons ready for consumption rather soon! I almost fell over though, it took 18 cases of grapes (imported from California) and they came to $417! I think it will be well worth it though

WOW! The only thing in the world I love more than working 12 hours a day with an hour drive is reading the DbD forum when I still have the newest post from a week ago....and STILL SEEING ALL THE HITS YOU GUYS MADE! What a bunch of "squat-pissers" you must be! Go...Post....or at least do something.....I do not have the time to baby-sit, hold hands or any other activity you bunch of jag-offs have in mind.

Hello there guys, how's it hangin'? I have been on afternoon shifts, so I am not on the evenings. When I am on, everyone is at work, dagnabbit! Teamspeak isnt working for me today, for some reason, so i gotta give the following info here: my e-mail addy (outlook express) is buggered, and my isp is on strike, so i cant get any friggin help, the rotten sob's. So if you all need to get in touch with me, my alt addy is "sawdoffsavage@yahoo.ca" Well, gotta run, gotta go finish tar-ing the roof, later.

WOOO HOOO, HOCKEY SEASON ....... MY VANCOUVER CANUCKS WON THEIR FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON (probably their last, too, given their past record)...but I digress, I didn't realize how much I missed the game, untill it wasn't around for a year, which brings me to this next statement, Der's no chor, like da nort' chor, dats' for chor......keep your stick on the ice, folks!

I went with some friends to see another friend in the hospital. This story is not about my sick friend. that is too sad of a story. We started heading to home and we all discussed our friends condition. We decided that he would not want us to be sulking about his condition so we stopped in at a micro-brewery that was set in an old church. We had a few drinks but it did not seem right to me...drinking in an old church....although the beer was quite good. We left and started home and I asked if anyone minded if we stopped in a bar and grabbed a 12 pack. GREAT IDEA!!! My bud (retired Navy) spotted a bar and pulled off the street right in front of the place. I jumped out and ran in. When i walked through the door there stood a skinny guy with two big earrings (the kind that are just HUGE holes in your ears). he looks at me and says "Hey stud!' ... I thought he was trying to pick a fight and since i was a bit far from home and just getting a 6-pack i would ignore it. I went to the bar-keep and asked for our order. i happened to notice a fellow next to me was playing one of those "touch-screen games and instead of matching hidden pics of beautiful women he was matching pics of NAKED MEN!!!!!!!! I began to look around the, while the bartender fetched my order and noticed one man sitting on an other mans lap, another with an arm around a man and realised that the bar they sent me in for take-out was a gay bar. In defense of my company, I am certain they did not know this, there health would depend on that thought. Well...back to my story.... I GRABBED MY TAKE-OUT AND HEADED FOR THE DOOR AND THE WHOLE d**n PLACE BURST OUT IN LAUGHTER. I jumped in our ride and told my friend to "GET OUT QUICK" He thought I did started trouble and took off cursing me...... When I told them what happened they laughed like hell and I am sure to be teased about that for a long time to come. (NOTE: Only GOOD friends have the right to MAYBE tease me) I guess that upon reflecting of the nights events, I learned one lesson..........If ya think that they are picking a fight with you, they may just be hitting on you....AND never let a friend that is retired Navy pick the bar you go in for take-out!
